KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER – Symrise – Dubai Jobs


1.   The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing key accounts, maintaining a long term relationship with accounts and maximising sales opportunities within them.

2.  Set out a vision for change and create a common understanding of the route to growth. Align own activities and goals with growth initiatives: Strategic customer development, customer development planning, core list management, financial strategy

3.  Focus on raising quality and customer and consumer satisfaction. Agree clear and consistent performance expectations around
business results and behaviours with e.g. account managers, business units, R&D: Performance Management, e.g. objective setting, targeting, activity analysis, measuring performance against action plan, result management, KPI Management and balanced scorecard awareness

4.  Aimed to find and realize new growth opportunities: Strategy building, creative problem solving, analyzing techniques, objective setting, using the growth triangle (win – protect – develop)

5.   Create new markets by exploiting growth opportunities: e.g. forced field analysis, nine box model, gap analysis

6.   Preparing to sell, needs based selling and understanding the buying process: e.g Prosper-Model (preparation, re-appraisal, opening, situation, presentation, ending, review)
