  6. I've been impressed with my return to Nokia with my 6.1, amazing value, quality and specification. The new Nokia 8 looks like another excellent product, with an impressive camera and Zeiss lens, and another great price point. I feel an upgrade coming…!

  7. Great products, but the Nokia keynotes should be more sophisticated and luxury-looking. Marketing is everything. :) #nokia

  10. Seems like Nokia is now afraid to lead the innovation business…
"Just folloing the trend" is what Nokia seems to be doing these days.. Nothing new and attractive with your phones… Everything same as one would find on any other phone in 2018.. Build Quality alone cannot be selling point for a smartphone these days.. Please be unique like you used to be..

  17. I would hope HMD realizes and comes to their senses that quality over quantity.

What consumers would like to see from HMD Nokia is that there a a few top quality phones released per year that are supported throughout the whole three year Android One program.

Not over 20 released phone models in a fast pace over a calendar year. Please focus on quality.

Also please consider to stop making region specific phones, if you have one global release for one model, the OTA is also easier because there are no several releases not compatible with each other.

  24. Is this the Nokia X7 with a higher price? Btw, this is such an underwhelming presentation. You talked about pureview but didn’t show how good it is. You talked about the photo and video capabilities but didn’t show real life examples that people can relate to (family, friends, running kids or pets, video recording while riding a roller coaster or using it as a helmet cam while riding a bike). You didn’t show how well it can record sounds of videos, or if the “bothies” camera can be used for video calls. You didn’t mention if there was a headphone jack, and you didn’t talk about its digital audio playing capabilities. You also missed the opportunity to showcase why it’s a great communication device (ex: best in class digital keyboard, amazing call quality, dual sim, etc.) I’m sure there are many more things that you could have done to make your keynote inspiring and interesting. Please consider these, not just for your supporters, but for your company as well. (PS: is it Nokia 8 or Nokia 8.1? That’s confusing…and yes, you have too many phones!!!)
