The Business Development Manager will be responsible identifying, analyzing and recommending specific business opportunities for the profitable growth and diversification of CEPCO, in addition for supervising the capturing, maintaining and updating CEPCO’s qualifications, capabilities and experience.
o Sourcing of strategic partnership, alliances and / or joint ventures; in-line with CEPCO’s strategic objectives and business plans, to secure new sources of viable businesses for CEPCO.
o Identifying potential projects opportunities that can be executed by CEPCO or through partnership, alliances and / or joint ventures.
o Identifying appropriate strategic partners to drive various growth initiatives.
o Developing implementation plans that guide the integration of the businesses alliances and joint ventures into CEPCO.
o Perform reviewing and initial screening of business opportunities based on:
- CEPCO’s Strategic Direction (i.e. targets customer and market segments).
- CEPCO’s Business Plan.
- Market Research Analysis Results.
- Potential rate of return.
o Evaluate potential opportunities / projects to ensure they are in-line with CEPCO’s strategic directions and business plan through conducting feasibility studies.
o Carry out the detailed analysis and negotiation of the business opportunities with the strategic business partners.
o Supervise the development of business cases for new opportunities/ projects and present business cases to various stakeholders to obtain buy-in.
o Supervise and periodically update research and benchmarking of global and regional contracting companies to identify emerging / leading practices and expand CEPCO’s business capabilities and market penetration.
o Analyze and report on the performance of alliances, joint ventures and partnerships whenever applicable.
