The Regional Service Operations Manager has overall Responsibility for the Internal Service teams, Field Service Engineers and the Management of the Regional Service Centre Workshops in the Middle East. In this roles responsibility would include coordinating service engineer’s assignments as required based on customer service inquiries; problem solve customer requests / complaints; scheduling service center workflow and assembly activities and coordinate all service related issues with the FT staff and customers.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Supervise and manager the Regional Service Centre Workshops – Operational Staff
Determine and administrate service center workflows, production & assembly activities as applicable.
Implement the business strategy to maximize Service Centre Revenue.
Develop the capabilities to maximize utilization of Service Centre Assets
Assign priorities as needed to ensure departmental work is completed accurately, on-time and at the required margin objectives.
Coordinate with legacy brand manufacturing facilities to pre arrange documentation, parts and information required to enable efficient commissioning and installation of new equipment.
Responsible to plan, manage and direct all service center activities and support services as to achieve optimum production levels, maintaining the highest standards of quality while improving margin.
Provide Technical support and troubleshooting guidance to Workshop & Field Service Engineers.
Develop the capabilities and platform for Reverse Engineering Capabilities of Replacement Parts – Particularly Pumps Related
Provide weekly / monthly forecast and updates to management as to service center activities and revenue.
Ensure compliance with and drive continuous improvements in line with company E&HS requirements both in workshop and in relation to field service work.
Manage departmental budget and staffing requirements.
Participate in annual and strategic planning processes.
Devise and implement service personnel training schedule to enable cross product service capabilities to cover the range of company brands in Middle East.
Responsible for the implementation and adherence for service personnel to all company, corporate, local, client specific safety and environmental policies and regulations.
Support the commercial teams through partnering with Tendering and External Sales to increase bid success rates
Support Sales activities through Agents, Client Workshop Audits and client open days
Client visits are required to ensure growth of service revenue.
Actively participate with Commercial Teams to establish service level agreements (MSA’s) for key customers.
