What you will do
The Technical Support Engineer is an advance technical support role reporting to the Technical Services Manager responsible for the Asia Pacific & Middle East region.
It is a key role for the Middle East region to support our sales & growth initiatives by providing technical support technical updates, application assistance on current and discontinued products and training services for our Fire Detection customers, specifically Simplex products include fire alarm systems, smoke & heat detectors, call points and control panels.
As a member of this team, you will work within a dynamic environment that provides a platform for you to have immediate impact on our customer experience.
How you will do it
As a Technical Support Engineer you will set up a support program in order to provide on time, right first time assistance to our customers with your expert technical knowledge covering both pre-sales and post commissioned technical queries. You have an in-depth technical knowledge of fire detection products and practical application of NFPA 72 codes & standards.
You provide training support setting up a structured 6 month rolling training schedule four our Sales team and Customers which range from specifiers, distributors, end users and the local Civil Defense authorities. Engaging them with the Simplex brand latest technologies, regulatory updates and best practices.
You are a natural self-starter, problem solver and data/analytics driven with the ability to explain technological concepts to a non-technical audience combined with a customer-orientated attitude.
