Nol Card Balance Checker tool from Dubai’s RTA. The NOL card from the RTA is now something nearly every person in Dubai has in his or her pocket. It is used for several options of public transportation, from Dubai Metro train, the Dubai bus or even the Water Ferry or Water Taxi.
You can always check the remaining NOL card balance by tapping it when entering the metro station or train platform. But did you know you that you can also check the remaining balance online?
For example to quickly check the remaining credits while you are not close to a Dubai Metro station or bus stop or so? As long as you got internet access you can still do that, yes.
Just browse to the NOL Card Balance checker, one of the most used features on the RTA website. Checking your balance is as easy as 1 – 2 – 3.
How to check your Dubai NOL Card Balance Online:
1. Browse to the RTA Website or click this Balance Checker link
On the website, you navigate to: RTA Homepage >> Public transport >> NOL >> View NOL Card Balance (Clicking the balance checker link above is much easier, right?)
2. Type in your card number. The NOL card number is located at the back of your NOL card.
3. Type the security code shown on the image and click the “Check” button. You can now see the remaining balance of your card at the bottom of the page. We told you its easy.
Khallas, that’s it. Make sure you remember that little trick when you are unsure if you still got enough credit left. It saved us a few times from going back and forth inside the station to reload the card.
Public transportation in Dubai has improved so much over the last few years and the Road & Transport Authority (RTA) is till working hard to make it better every day it seems. The NOL card is here to stay, so its good to know how to use it properly. So keep your card loaded at all times to avoid.
Another advice is to always tap your NOL card, especially in the buses. Inspectors are pretty strict on imposing fines of up 200 AED if the system shows that you did not tap your card in the machine. Some local news is curated - Original might have been posted at a different date/ time!
