Business Development Manager to work for our company in Sharjah. Role is based in Sharjah however they will Business Developing the Iraq market “trade and Shipping lines” so the candidates need to have good trade line and Iraq market exposure.
Finally there will be some travel to Iraq with this role so please ensure you are ok with travel
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Generate sales leads for sea and air freight products.
• Handle customer enquiries and draft required quotations.
• Win business related to the candidate’s knowledge of the industry and products.
• Conduct market research and market segmentation.
• Responsible for setting up general sales objectives for example sales volume, sales revenue, contribution to profits while ensuring that continuous growth is achieved.
• Be the catalyst for growth by identifying business development opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor movements on a continuous basis, in order to take proactive steps towards ensuring business growth and profitability are achieved.
• Ensure a strong team-spirit and perform in a safe and exemplary manner.
• Identify, develop and offer right product mix for securing repeat and referral business.
• Maintain sales activity records and reports.
• Manage commercial relationships assigned in a manner that will promote customer satisfaction, business growth and profitability
