Ok, normal hybrid cars look boring, agreed. But imagine what happens if a famous sports car manufacturer from Germany, Porsche for instance, starts making hybrid cars? Will they still look boring? Or might Porsche just pay a designer to make something really special, a hybrid car to look at?

The 3.4 liter V8 petrol engine combined with an electric motor will give you 500 bhp to play with and will accelerate you and the Porsche from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds. Swooooshhhhhhhhhh…. Once you reached 198 mph it wont go faster anymore, but it also has a 78 mpg fuel economy bundled with that power. That’s something to make even your Greenpeace neighbor smile.
There is a bad news though. The Porsche 918 Spyder is only a concept car so far and even if you beg the Germans they wont be able to sell you one. Not yet. But start putting aside some cash, one day you might just go and buy a brand new Porsche hybrid car, the Porsche 918 Spyder. Would you buy one?
I would definately go for one of these … as i won't be able to afford the GT even if i rot =P, so probably as a hybrid porsche sypder 918 with 500 bhp for a "Hybrid" count me in germans !
