Shaikh Ahmad Bin Juma Al Maktoum passed away on Monday. The palace of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, is mourning the death of Shaikh Ahmad, WAM reported. Local radio stations are playing the Quranic verses as a sign of mourning. The body of the deceased will be prayed upon in Nad Sheba mosque after Asr paryers on Monday. The burial will take place in Bur Dubai’s Um Hurair cemetery. Sheikh Ahmad Bin Juma Al Maktoum was born in 1936, and has several children. His daughter Sheikha Rodha Bint Ahmad Bin Juma is married to Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Finance and Deputy Ruler of Dubai. His niece, Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, is the wife of Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
