Is the fact that the metro station marketing campaign has begun worthy of mentioning? Only PRs care.

The most important fact missing here is how much it will cost.

  2. I guess the marketing campaign is quite important as it will have to be a success. Just imagine Dubai has a metro and nobody is using it or understands how to use it properly or how to get to the stations and so on ;-)
There was a poll what people are willing to pay for a ticket http://www.dubaiinformer.com/pollsarchive/
Officially the prices are not yet decided or at least not published yet. So we can just wait and see…

Just pointing out that if these are the top 10 facts then they are really loose. Whilst saying that the marketing campaign has started is strictly a fact, it is a dull one and not worthy of any top 10 spot. Marketing starts for something when it is annouced that they are going to build it. Following your link it would have been much more interesting to post the maximum that people are willing to pay for it because that is an interesting fact that will effect people, especially if they price it similar to Nahkeel's Palm line. Also, the times of operating, which I am lead to believe that they have annouced, are surely a better fact than marketing campaigns in this PR-heavy market. The only reason to highlight an advertising campaign is if you have some vested interest in it. 'Facts' are too easily banded around here.

  4. Md. Nazmul Haque says:

This will make Dubai peoples life faster and also cheaply they can travel else where. This will also help all traveler for convenient travel in Dubai.

  5. dadon says:

for sure the train will still be a success once it operates even if the average number of passenges that will take it per trip is only ten. mark my word, that's how they'll bandy it in their newspapers just like salik.

  6. Meherab says:

According to Maktoob, the fares have been revealed (leaked?). You can read about it here. http://business.maktoob.com/20090000004955/Low_me...

  7. Wow its going to be very impressive when finished,I would love to one day visit Dubai and take a ride on it with my camera. Then show back in AUSTRALIA ,our rail is nothing like what you will have its going to be very nice.
