   You’re right that sandstorms can damage your property, but they are somewhat of a rare occurrence limited to a few times per year. They are also quick and sporadic; while we got it pretty good (as seen in the video) in Dubai Silicon Oasis, many other areas in Dubai saw only mild rain or gloomy skies.

   Don’t these sand storm scratch your cars, mess up you phones and cameras, scratch your window panes and effect other similar appliances exposed outdoors?

    Dubai’s great, but way too hot in the summer which is why we enjoy these rare moments of peculiar weather! If you have a choice come between November- March where you can enjoy the outdoors as well.
