I’ve lived in Dubai for a good part of my life and have visited it multiple times including in the last year. The fact of the matter is 80% of Dubai is temporary workers and none of them have left. Why? Because thei job is still there. The recession did affect Dubai but it did not collapse.
This is about a year and a half before Dubai world crashed right? Really interesting to watch knowing what happened.
