About the Job:
We are looking to identify experienced Quality Controller to join our Lexus team in Dubai. You will be responsible for the final control and quality control of the Toyota workshop vehicles to ensure all vehicle repairs are of the highest quality.
The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to):
Perform Quality check on all completed repairs on the customer vehicle including road test to ensure the highest quality standard and ensure 100 completion of customer requested work.
Do the job right the first time
Conduct, record and report results of Quality Control Inspections
Assign and dispatch repair orders to the most appropriately skilled Technician based on priority and completion time
Distribute repair orders with expected job completion time
Monitor and follow-up work progress for each Technician to ensure completion on time to the customer
Ensure that all items on the repair order are completed in a timely and tradesman like manner
Keep Service Advisors constantly informed of delays and additional work found
Maintain a productive working environment within the service shop
Monitor the reasons for, and the progress of each job stoppage
Monitor, record and identify the causes of vehicle carryovers
Monitor and record the causes of repeat repairs
Ensure all Technicians are appropriately dressed and ready for work on time
Assist Technicians with diagnosis of difficult repairs
Maintain a tools and equipment maintenance register
Ensure a safe working environment
Maintain a clean and orderly service department
Ensure all required Special Service Tools are available and in good working order
Ensure that all vehicles are fitted with adequate courtesy items (Floor Mats, Fender Covers, Seat Covers)
Acknowledge good performance and conduct regular Technician meetings
Ensure the service shop operation meets the requirements of the local environmental authorities
Maintain clear and open communication between Technicians and Service Advisors
Assist Service Advisors with repair explanation when required
Maintenance, control and distribution of all product technical bulletins and repair manuals
Lead, control and motivate the Technicians
Keep Service Advisors informed of possible sales and profit opportunities
