Dubai Autism Centre asks for help to finish its new home

The custom-built centre, which is currently a shell, started to rise out of the sand in Garhoud in 2006 thanks to a 8,426sqm plot of land granted by the government and a donation of Dhs26.5 million.
But the financial crash two years later meant many of the philanthropists who had pledged donations could no longer help.
