Trial of Salman Khan’s ‘blackbuck hunting’ case suspended again

The same witnesses had also missed a court appearance on April 27, and the hearing was adjourned until July 6 by magistrate Chandrakala Jain.

On March 23, charges were read at Jodhpur High Court to Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabbu and Neelam – who have been accused of provoking Salman to hunt.

The public prosecutor has been asked to make sure that the witnesses appear in court on next hearing.

Hukum Singh Gehlot said the witnesses could not appear in the court because the summons could not be served to them on time. “They will appear on the next hearing,” he said.
