Hazardous waste vehicles face stricter controls

DUBAI: The Dubai Civil Defence and the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have intensified inspections of trucks that transport hazardous material to verify their compliance with safety standards.

Such material includes petroleum items, gas, lubricants and oil wastes, chemical wastes, biological and radioactive material and domestic gas supplies.
