Abhishek was in New Delhi to walk the the ramp along kids for the ‘The Baby Beri Show’, organised to create awareness for autism and raise funds to support underprivileged children.
“Currently she is in Dubai and very small, but I am sure she will be happy to lend her support to such causes when she grows up,” Bachchan said.
Ash and Beti B’s visit could be related to the purchase of a new home in the UAE. On Saturday, 7DAYSinDubai.com reported that the Bachchans have reportedly purchased property in Dubai for their one-year-old daughter.
Toddler Aaradhya has been gifted a Dhs36 million home, according to Indian celebrity gossip website BollywoodHungama.
Doting dad Abhishek was earlier reported to have bought Beti B a bright red Mini Cooper S for her first birthday. However, few weeks later, Bollywood legend and grandfather Amitabh claimed that the car was actually a present for him and not Aaradhya.
The Bachchans already own a home in Dubai’s Jumeirah Golf Estates development.
Speaking to Indian media at the children’s charity fashion event, Abhishek also said that a parent’s responsibility is just too give a healthy upbringing to child, without forcing any ideas on him or her.
“As a parent it is not about material goods. The gifts a parent can give the children are love, care, education and understanding. These are the most important gifts any parent can give. As far as I am concerned, taking care of the child is never just a mother’s role. It’s all about sharing responsibilities,” Abhishek told Times of India.
Dressed in a black jacket and blue denims, the 37-year-old actor was seen dancing alongside kids on the ramp to songs like ‘Bunty aur Babli’, ‘Kajra re’ and ‘Desi girl’.
Abhishek also signed a t-shirt that went on live auction during Beri’s event.
