• Manages the company’s help desk operations

• Creates IT policies that support the efforts of other departments within the company

• Controls and monitors the company’s technology budget and directs purchasing of systems.

• Oversees the monitoring and maintenance of IT assets across the company

• Plans the life span of all the companies’ technologies, including anticipated upgrades and replacements.

• Coordinates efforts with facilities management staff on the provision and maintenance of sites where technology is deployed

• Ensures technology and systems available around the clock, and establishes disaster recovery or contingency plans to assure business continuity

• Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly.

• Manages the purchasing of all software and hardware and other IT supplies.
