Consultant contributes to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions. He/she is skilled in designing, coding, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements. He/she may have some oversight responsibility for the technology solution.

In Business Intelligence professionals has to design, implement and deploy SAP business intelligence solutions (applications and technologies which are used to gather, provide access to, and analyze data and information about company operations) for end-to-end data warehousing and analytics.

Key responsibilities as BO may include:

• SAP Business Objects Enterprise architecture, installation, configuration, and administration

• Universe semantic layer design and development

• Desktop Intelligence / Full client reporting

• Web Intelligence reporting

• Reports development

• Dashboard Manager / Performance Manager metrics development

• Xcelsius dashboard development

• OLAP cube design

• OLAP Intelligence analytic report design

• Data Integrator workflow package development

• SAP Business Objects Enterprise SDK application development including portal integration

Key responsibilities as BI may include:

• SAP Business Objects Enterprise architecture, installation, configuration, and administration

• Supervising process and functional design activities.

• Creating functional requirements as an input to application design

• Developing and testing detailed functional designs for business solution components and prototypes.

• Supervising application build, test, and deploy activities.

Planning and executing data conversion activities (e.g., test data).

• Driving test planning and execution.
