Lead Structural Engineer, Abu Dhabi, EPC

**Must be available to start beginning of January 2013**

**Must be eligible to work in Abu Dhabifor VISA application**

Key Task

- Structural design appraisal of offshore structures – jacket and topside etc. Both new and ageing

Responsibilities

- Undertake design reviews of offshore and onshore structures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, verification scheme and/or certification requirements
- Undertake independent analysis of various offshore and onshore structures
- Design Appraisal of tank container structures
- Undertake design assessment for life extension / remaining life assessment of existing offshore / onshore structures
- Maintain good communications with clients, designers and other offices

Experience

- Minimum 14 years experience – 8+ years experience in offshore structural design and analysis
- Fixed Offshore structure experience – in-place analysis/ review, fatigue analysis/ review
- Experience with ageing fixed offshore structure analysis/ life extension of Fixed offshore structure would be advantageous

Qualifications and Skills

- Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status – preferred
- Well conversant with codes and standards – API RP 2A, AISC, CAP 437
- Competency in offshore structural analysis software – SESAM, SACS
